What I Have Learned About Blogging (-^〇^-)

To answer the unit question which is, “How can we use blogs to explore new ideas, opinions and interact with the world around us? “ I will write a post explaining my answer for that question.

Blogging is our second unit. In this unit we have learned many things. Starting from blogging guidelines, commenting and how to make a good blog. I enjoy this unit very much. Why? Because blogging teaches me much more behind the main things we are supposed to learn. It teaches me to be more open-minded and understand my friends a little bit more.

Blogging is a way for us to communicate with our friends and our blog visitors. In blogs we communicate with out visitors by interacting with then through our posts and comments. But remember, blog is accessible for everyone who has access to the World Wide Web. That I why we should be cautious and stay on the safe side to prevent unwanted things to happen. For example identity thefts, cyber bullying and many more.

How? By keeping our private information private. Do not share your address, phone number, home number or your last name. Just by doing this simple things you can be safe from bad things that people do through the internet.

I made sure that my private information was kept private. How about you? After making sure that you’ve done it, we can move on to the next thing. Let me explain about the templates of your blog. A blog is like a piece of artwork, full of pictures, writings and your feelings. Therefore you should make sure that it is a beautiful one.

We can do that by changing the templates into the ones that are more fancy and fun. As well as adding widgets and maybe a music bar on top or at the bottom of your blog. Besides of the template, the beauty of your blog is also expressed through your writings. That is why we write something that we are interested in. Why? Because usually if we write something that we like, we can actually wrote it full heartedly making the result much better. For example writing about you hobbies, likes or dislikes and maybe your positive experience. But remember to tell it using appropriate vocabulary because it is a school blog that can be read by the teachers and friends. Do not use profanities or offensive posts that can harass or bully others.

In order to make the post more alive as well as helping the readers understand more about the post I usually attach a media on my post. It can either be a picture or a video that is related with the post. And remember to keep your posts up to date with the most recent news or piece of information. Maybe you can share some knowledge like I did on my blog. I shared my knowledge on blogging templates.

Another thing, make sure you write something that everyone can understand and relate to. Therefore they can interact with you by relating to their own interest and experience. And they even might give you some additional information that you don’t know!

So overall, I enjoy blogging a lot. It is a lot of fun. I can express myself through my blog. As long as you stay on the safe side, there is no negative impact to express yourself and share your feelings or experience through your personal or school blog. Oh!
